Work in progress

June BJP finished : Coyote cries after failing to take his wife back from the Underworld.
I associated June with Death for some reason. A dear friend of our family passed away this month, she had the same June birth day as me. Very sad, and a little unsettling.

Struggling with Peyote stitch...

Your June page is very thoughtful,
I lost a friend of mine 5 years ago, a month before her birthday, and our birthdays where only a week apart. We always went to lunch together to celebrate. I always miss her around this time of year. Your June page makes me think of her.
Thanks for sharing,
Sunni

I like your little coyote, the story and the title. What a tender way to remember your friend. Your use of different fabrics is really intriguing!

I really like how your page turned out. The woman in the background is still quite apparent but the whole picture is so coherent. Beautiful even though coyote is still sad.

Your piece is beautiful.
And (this) June was death. Maybe you've read on my blog what I postet with the date on 12th. The whole year there was death much too near, very strange, very sad.
Anyway, I like your beading.

Where in France are you living?
Are you French? Your name is so very french but your English so very good.

Thank you Freebird, thank you Vicki. Being a beginner at bead embroidery, I want to do many tings at the same time but I am frustrated by my lack the technique, so I try to find ways of conveying my ideas :o)

Thanks Tally, I did read your entry on your blog but didn't know how to find suitable words to comfort you. I hope you're feeling better now.

I am French by my mum and British by my dad :o)

Take care,

Hélène
