Work in progress

This is what I'm doing for my June BJP page.
No Coyote in sight so far.

It just occured to me that if I turn the piece it looks like a woman having difficulty breathing. Like Chloé in the Boris Vian book "L'écume des jours", or my grandmother who died of TB or myself who had asthma as a child...

I wonder when/how/why Coyote will appear? Lovely beadwork. How cool that the image can be rotated like that!

That piece is looking very nice.

Thank you Acey, maybe Coyote is just there in spirit, I don't know yet ;o)

Thanks Judi, it's my first real attempt to beading on fabric and I know it's not perfect but I feel a little proud ;o)

Hi Hélène,

It's beautiful, I love the swirl in the flower stems and the colors you have chosen are set off nicely from the background. I'll be eagerly checking back to see your progress.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog as well and leaving such nice comments.

Helene,
To me the woman looks as though she is slowing breathing out the starts. Very cool image...

How do I get the accent marks to show in your name?

I like your piece so far. The flowers are very pretty and I like the two pieces of fabric together. Will you keep the face or go back to your original thought? Your flower picture is very nice too. What does Le nid de Colibri mean?

Thank you Grace, Pearl, Freebird for your nice comments :o)

I was inspired by a Canadian design for the flower. I think I'll drop the face, I don't know if I'll manage to squeeze a Coyote in yet.

Accents come from my French keyboard. and the blog name means "The Hummingbird's nest".

Kind regards, Hélène
